Consequences of A Deactivated SIM Card
Failure to reactivate within the grace period of five days, which is until July 30, 2023, will automatically result in permanent SIM deactivation.
As a result of failing to register SIM, no cellular services will be accessible, including incoming and outgoing calls, sending and receiving text messages, and mobile data connectivity. This may also affect access to active mobile apps, such as online banking, e-wallet, transportation, and other essential apps.
Further, all remaining load balances and promo registrations on unregistered SIM cards will be forfeited on July 31, 2023. Therefore, those with deactivated SIM cards who need mobile services will be required to buy new SIMs, which must be registered first in order to activate.
