PH Sibol's AK bags silver in IESF 2023 Tekken 7 grand final

Sibol's Alexandre "AK" Laverez bagged the silver medal in the 2023 IESF World Esports Championship Tekken 7 tournament.

PlayBook Esports star AK lost to Atif "Atif Butt" Ijaz of Pakistan, the reigning Tekken World Tour Finals champion, in the grand finals with a score of 2-5.

Atif dominated games 1 through 3. AK made his first match win in game 4. Atif then quickly secured game 5. AK clinched game 6. However, Atif ultimately earned the gold medal with a win in game 7.

Prior to the gold medal match against Pakistan's Atif Butt, AK won all five matches in Group C.

In the playoffs, AK beat Colombia, Denmark, and Greece before sweeping South Korea to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.
