The MSC 2024 is the inaugural title to debut at the Esports World Cup and will include a massive prize pool of USD 3 million to celebrate the partnership as it expands beyond Southeast Asia. A total of 16 international teams from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Turkey, North America, Latin America, and China will participate.

With the most world championship victories under its belt, the Philippines has a good chance of winning the champion team's reward of USD 1 million (or PHP 58 million). This time, the country is looking for a fourth MSC championship.

The tournament will become more competitive as international teams import world-class Filipino players, raising the standard of competition in Riyadh even higher.

Falcons AP Bren will play their Group Stage opening match against Xianyou Gaming on July 3, 2024, at 11:00 (GMT+3). Liquid Echo's initial game is set for July 3, 2024, at 14:00 (GMT +3), against Twisted Minds.
