Dune: Awakening is finally available on PC (via Steam) in the Philippines and other regions around the world, developer and publisher Funcom announced. Check out the latest open-world survival MMO game's information below, including the prices of its three editions.
According to Funcom, Dune: Awakening is "the biggest Dune game ever made" and "one of the most ambitious survival games to date." It's time to challenge the Imperium's power.
Overview
Dune Awakening is a huge multiplayer survival game set in Arrakis, inspired by Frank Herbert's fantastical world and brought to life by Denis Villeneuve and Legendary Entertainment's highly acclaimed films.
Players face blazing sun, terrible sandstorms, and sandworms. They'll build weapons, armor, ground automobiles, and ornithopters while gaining personal and political dominance. Join the Atreides or Harkonnen to alter the shared world. Dune Awakening's massive multiplayer systems let hundreds of players trade, fight, and navigate political intrigue over persistent servers.
Dune: Awakening Out Now
As of writing, the prices of the game's three editions on Steam are as follows:
- Standard Edition: 1,799 Pesos
- Deluxe Edition: 2,399 Pesos
- Ultimate Edition: 2,999 Pesos
"Buy once, own it" is Dune: Awakening's business model. Players can buy optional downloadable content (DLC) if they want, but the game is not in Early Access. There are no subscription fees or microtransactions.
Season Pass (979 Pesos), including Wildlife of Arrakis DLC, is also available now. This pack includes four in-game statues of the planet's most resilient creatures: Muad'Dib, chiroptera, sandworm, and kulon. The remaining three DLCs will be released in Q4 2025, Q1 2026, and Q2 2026. Further, free updates from Funcom will bring new content, features, and improvements.
Players who purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition have a 5-day head start that kicked off on June 5, 2025.
Currently at 88 percent user rating (Very Positive), Dune: Awakening witnessed 117,087 Steam players at peak concurrency, a number expected to rise now that the game has officially been released and the pre-order window is over.
As of this time in writing and since its full launch on Steam, it has an 88 percent user rating (Very Positive) and a peak-concurrent player count of 142,050 as per SteamDB.
Meanwhile, Funcom has confirmed that Dune Awakening will also launch on PlayStation and Xbox. Expect console release around 2026.
Funcom revealed the game's launch trailer during Summer Game Fest last week. They uploaded a new supercut video teaser to celebrate the June 10, 2025, debut, including highlights from previous trailers.
