Microsoft has officially released Windows 11 on October 5, 2021. Alongside the launch of the new operating system, Microsoft also provided the official Windows 11 ISO file.
Windows 11 OS is a free upgrade via Windows update for eligible Windows 10 PCs. It will roll out in batches. If you don’t want to wait and you’re eager to try it out right now, you can follow this simple guide on installing a clean Windows 11 OS using ISO.

How to install Windows 11 operating system using ISO?

Requirements:
Procedure:
Step 1: Install Rufus and run the application.
Step 2: Insert your flash drive.
Step 3: Select your USB drive in the ‘Device’ dropdown menu.
Step 4: Under the Format Options, make sure the file system should be NTFS.
Step 5: Click the Select button to navigate to the Windows 11 ISO file’s location, choose it, and click the Start button.
Step 6: The process will take a few moments to finish, depending on the speed of your USB stick.
Step 7: Once done, you can eject your flash drive.
After creating your bootable flash drive, you can now perform a clean install of Windows 11 OS on any compatible system you like. Insert the USB drive, start your PC, and proceed to the Windows setup.
If the installation didn’t appear upon boot up, you need to arrange the boot order in your computer’s BIOS and set the USB drive at the top of the boot order priority list. You may refer to the website of your BIOS on how to configure your system’s boot order.
Now, you can use your bootable USB drive whenever you want to upgrade a compatible machine with the latest Microsoft OS. You may, however, miss out on automatic updates. Alternatively, you may have to install a new ISO each time.
