Ragnarok: Battle Academy (ROBA) has allowed Pre-CBT access to players from the Philippines since December 2, 2021. The country was the first to enter ROBA, with the remaining regions awaiting their turn.
Players who participated took a short time to grasp the unique combination of selecting their class and skill set to be the last party or lone wolf standing.
In a party of four, each player’s class selection and the two possible skill sets associated with that class are critical to their role on the team. Although teamwork is a factor in determining a party’s victory, there is no rule prohibiting players from going solo if that is their preferred winning method.
Another consideration is the starting point. Various familiar mobs of monsters, mini-bosses, and MVP bosses are scattered throughout the map, adding an element of challenge to this survival game. It will be up to parties or soloists to turn the tides with their encounters, as looted items have the potential to determine a player’s fate.
While the Pre-CBT is still ongoing and will conclude on December 8, various events have already been launched for the participants’ enjoyment.
One of them is throwing the best party and striking the best pose, for which the winners will receive Gcash prizes. Even simply providing feedback on the game may earn them cash prizes. It is also encouraged to record video clips of your in-game experience, as the best moments captured will win cash prizes.
Besides the real-world cash prizes, some events also offer in-game items. Simply logging in for the duration of the Pre-CBT period will reward participants with costumes.
Interested players in the Philippines will be able to connect to the game’s server until December 8 if their devices meet the following specs requirements:
