In a Twitter post, the Smart-led esports organization said that Valve had lifted the ban on the organization after conducting an internal investigation of all involved individuals.
Omega’s investigation resulted in the termination of the contract of Chris “CTY” Maldo and ending the contracts of Prince “Prince” Daculan and Ryniel “Zenki” Calvez.
With this appeal, Smart Omega can now participate in the Dota Pro Circuit Spring Season and other events sponsored by Valve.
Omega Esports also added that they will “strengthen its internal processes to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening in the future.”
They will also remain “committed in upholding the rules of the league and in encouraging healthy competition in the global esports industry.”
