Bren and Omega dominated their lower bracket matches in the Sibol Mobile Legends: Bang Bang National Team Selection, live-streamed Friday via the official Sibol Facebook page.
Bren Esports defeated El Ganador Esports in the best-of-three series, 2-1, while Omega Esports swept Origen Esports, 2-0. Both MLBB teams will advance to the second round of the lower bracket in the Sibol Mobile Legends qualifiers. Meanwhile, losing squads were eliminated in the tryouts.
Bren’s Kenneth “Saxa” Fedelin (Aamon) secured a crucial Luminous Lord at the 21-minute mark to give the squad the lead in the pivotal Game 3.
After that, the team arranged a kill on El Ganador’s Minguin (Kagura) en route to the game-winning rally.
Meanwhile, Omega Esports delivered an all-out performance against Origen Esports, clinching a clean 2-0 sweep.
Dean “Raizen” Sumagui, Jhonville “OUTPLAYED” Villar, and Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog were instrumental in Smart Omega’s victory.
