The esports event in SEA Games 2022 includes 8 titles: 5 mobile games and 3 PC games. These mobile games are Mobile Legends, LOL Wild Rift, Arena of Valor (AoV), PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile, and Garena Free Fire. The Wild Rift event is divided into two divisions: men and women. The PUBG Mobile tournament was split into individual and team categories. Meanwhile, the medal events for PC titles are League of Legends, CrossFire, and FIFA Online 4.
The number of Sibol representatives for SEAG 2022 is twice the 27 athletes it fielded in when the country hosted the inaugural SEA Games Esports tournament in 2019 at the San Juan Arena (Filoil Flying V Centre).
