Media firm ABS-CBN, Globe Telecom-led entertainment company Kroma, and 917Ventures have announced that PIE Channel will officially launch on May 23, 2022.
PIE, which stands for Pinoy Interactive Entertainment, is a revolutionary new TV and digital channel that will upgrade the traditional viewing experience to digital.
Celebrities and content creators are introduced as ‘PIE jocks’. PIESILOG, every morning at 7 a.m., everyone’s favorite neighbor “Mayora” Frances Cabatuando of the Home Buddies Facebook community, will provide you with relevant information, inspiring stories, and positive energy. With her are resident “Bibong Artist” Raco Ruiz, “Good Boy Charmer” Jae Miranda, “Kikay” Sela Guia, “Kwelang Kuya ng Lahat” Tristan Ramirez, and “VJ na Laging May Say” Eryka Lucas.
BARANGAY PIE will be your cheerful lunchtime companion. Join the antics of “Ang Muse ng Barangay” Abby Trinidad, “Ang Tito Mong Mayor” Mayor TV, “Barangay Sexy-Tary” Patsy Reyes, “Barangay Queen Sirena” Inah Evans, “Barangay Talak-Tokerist” Ruth Paga, “Sawsawera ng Barangay” Sunshine Teodoro, and “Sizt-mosa ng Barangay” Coco Cordero.

Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast, said that they are excited to introduce to viewers “a new kind of viewing experience that combines the strengths of content and technology.” She added that this new entertainment channel airs for 21 hours with “fun game shows, talent and variety programs, series, and talk shows every day.”
PIE, the first multiscreen, real-time interactive TV channel in the Philippines, is a collaboration between BEAM, 917Ventures, tradigital entertainment company KROMA, and ABS-CBN, the country’s leading storyteller and content creator. It begins airing on May 23, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily, and is accessible to 11 million digital TV households in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Naga, Baguio, and neighboring provinces via partner station BEAM.
