Facebook Stars Value in Philippine Peso
Once streamers and content creators earn more stars from their fans, they are able to convert them into cash and collect their earnings. Each star is worth USD 0.01. For some simple calculations, you can refer to the list below:

- 1 Star – PHP 0.50 – USD 0.01
- 100 Stars – PHP 50 PHP – USD 1.00
- 1,000 Stars – PHP 500 – USD 10.00

To be eligible to receive stars from fans, you must first meet the following criteria:
- Facebook Page for the Gaming Video Creator (Category)
- Streamed at least four hours of video game content in the past fourteen days
- Streamed video game content at least twice in the past fourteen days
- Have a minimum of 100 followers on your Page
- Stream from the eligible country
- Comply with Community Standards and Partner Monetization Policies
All of your earned stars will be computed at the end of each month, and you will receive payment after 30 days if you have made at least 10,000 stars or USD 100. Depending on your country of origin, payment methods include PayPal, bank transfer, or cheque.
How to Enable FB Stars on Gaming Streams?
Facebook Stars is a feature that enables the monetization of live videos. Viewers can purchase Stars and send them to you while you are streaming live or on past live videos that had Stars activated.
To start receiving Stars, you must join Level Up and follow the procedure below.
Step 1: To enable Facebook Stars, go to Creator Studio > Creative Tools > Live Dashboard.
Step 2: Select “Set up Stars.”
Step 3: Set up your payment information.
During your streams, viewers can now send you Stars and attach animated gifts to them.
How to Send Stars on Facebook Live Stream?
Step 1: To send stars to your favorite content creator during a livestream, click the star icon next to “Write a comment…”
Step 2: Your balance of Stars will be displayed on the top right.
Step 3: Drag the slider left or right to select the number of stars you want to send, or type a custom amount and click Send.
Step 4: Click Send to send your Stars.

How to buy Facebook Stars?
There are two ways to purchase FB Stars: via a shortcut or during a live video.
Via a shortcut:
To buy Stars while watching a live video with Stars enabled, you can follow the simple guide below:
Step 1: Type (!) in the comments field.
Step 2: Enter the number of Stars you would like to send. (Example: Typing !100 would send the creator 100 Stars.)
During a live video:
To buy Stars during a live stream or on-demand video, follow the procedure below:
Step 1: Go to a video creator’s page during a live or on-demand video.
Step 2: Tap the star icon next to “Write a comment…”
Step 3: Your balance of Stars will be displayed in the top left.
Step 4: Tap Buy Stars to purchase additional Stars.
Step 5: Select the pack of Stars you would like to buy (example: 100 Stars).
Step 6: Follow the prompts from Google Play or Apple Store.
Step 7: Tap Done.
Facebook Stars Payout
Facebook Stars payouts are issued approximately 21 days after the end of the month in which the Stars were received. For instance, Stars earned in June are paid out in July.
Monthly, you can expect to receive:
- An invoice that includes earnings from the previous month’s pay period.
- Payment if you earned USD 100 or more in a given month or based on your cumulative monthly earnings. If you make USD 50 in April and USD 80 in May, for example, you will be paid in June.
In your payout settings, you can view your Stars earnings history and past payouts. In Creator Studio, you can also view and manage Payouts by navigating to Monetization > Payout Settings.
