The wildly famous anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is finally arriving in theaters in the Philippines.
SM Cinema, through its social media pages, has announced that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be showing in its theaters beginning June 22, 2022.
The movie first premiered in Japan in December 2021 and in the United States last March. It was animated by studio MAPPA and directed by Sunghoo Park, with Hiroshi Seko being the screenplay writer.
“Jujutsu Kaisen 0” is the first film in the “Jujutsu Kaisen” franchise.
It serves as the prequel to the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Both are Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami.
The story of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 revolves around Yuta Okkotsu, a young man who is recruited to enroll at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, where he learns to control his terrifying power.
In the main series, the story follows Itadori Yuuji, who embarks on a journey to annihilate a powerful curse named Ryomen Sukuna.
