Publisher Level Infinite and game developer Hotta Studio have revealed that Tower of Fantasy 1.5 Update brings a host of in-game events, a new 8-person boss raid, a new character and weapon and a new map to explore, the Artificial Island.
New Map: Artificial Island
Artificial Island is a separate area from the main game world that is unlocked when players reach level 50 and complete certain missions. Those who have been commissioned as Wanderers will embark on a remarkable journey and be prepared to interact with numerous riddles.
On the island, there are abundant supply materials, including gold, black, and even the rare red nucleus. As they progress, Wanderers will unlock the Construction feature of the Artificial Island to create their own unique island. This enables them to unlock exclusive maps, collect construction materials, discover intelligent servants and pets, and craft valuable items.
New Character: Claudia
A new unlockable Simulacrum character will also enter the fray. A tall Hykros Executor with a military demeanor is Claudia. After getting to know her, she is more like a kindhearted older sister than a dependable, tenacious, first-to-charge-ahead-in-battle warrior. With a strong sense of morality, she fights for justice and others.
Her mastery of one-handed swords and mobility placed her on the front lines of challenging operations, but she was transmitted to a medical facility after suffering severe injuries during Operation Dark Apocalypse. Claudia brings the fearsome Guren Blade, a Grevious-type weapon with the Shatter and Charge abilities, to Tower of Fantasy.
New 8-player Raid
In the new Eight-player Raid, crews of players will encounter a challenge. Assembling a team of eight, players can challenge the formidable Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon for special Fortress Weaponry rewards. In this update, there are three instances available with normal difficulty.
Events
Numerous limited-time events and challenges will be hosted via daily log-ins and the Aida Cafe.
During the duration of the event, players can enter the Aida Cafe via the Rewards page to serve three mysterious customers. Players then are tasked with exploring the open world in search of the raw materials necessary to customize each customer's meal. The more revenue Aida Cafe generates from satisfied customers, the greater the rewards.
