Turn-based strategy RPG "Onmyoji" has announced the Millennial Guardian event, bringing new Shikigami and rewards. Check out more details below.
New Shikigami: SSR Susanoo and SP Divine Prophet Susabi
Thousands of years ago, Susanoo (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) led the divine army of Takamagahara in the Battle of Seven Evil Gods. During this epic conflict, the warrior deity used the power of Amaterasu to defeat the evil gods and sealed the Orochi with the mighty Ame-no-Habakiri blade. Susanoo descended from the heavens to fight alongside mortals, and he continues to protect the world to this day, never shirking his duty.
Meanwhile, the Divine Prophet Susabi (voiced by Daisuke Hirawaka) is the greatest disciple of Tsukuyomi, using his ability to foresee the future to give guidance-seeking mortals prophecies. Susabi is a mysterious and silent individual, but he is known to be kind and considerate toward those few who become close to him. Susabi, who has spent millennia attempting to comprehend the meaning of fate, now investigates whether fate can be altered and whether it is possible to walk against the tides of reality.
Summoning Event
From October 19 to 30, 2022, SSR Susanoo and SP Divine Prophet Susabi will appear in a special Summoning Event. During this event, summons performed with a Mystery Amulet, AR Amulet, or Jade have a 2.5-times-increased chance to draw an SP/SSR Shikigami.
Players who perform 100 summons will receive a random SP Shikigami, while those with an SSR Full Collection prior to the maintenance period preceding the event on October 19 will get a guaranteed SSR Susanoo or SP Divine Prophet Susabi on their 600th summon.
During the duration of the event, summoning will grant corresponding tier gift packs containing Skill Daruma, Mystery Amulets, Skin Tokens, Jade, Self-Select SR, and other rare items.
Millennial Guardian Event
SSR Susanoo and SP Divine Prophet Susabi are vital to the Millennial Guardian event, in which players can complete various gameplay challenges to earn event tokens that can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, such as Dodomeki's "Pearly Eyes" skin, SSR/SP Summon Scrolls, an animated frame, Skill Daruma, Jade, and more.
Phase 1 of the Millennial Guardian event will run from October 19 to October 26, and Phase 2 will run from October 26 to November 1.
Players can now pre-register for the event at the official Onmyoji website (https://ift.tt/vRnyeks) from October 15 to October 25.
Pre-registrants have the chance to win in-game items, such as Mystery Amulets, and real-world prizes, such as an iPhone 14. During the pre-registration event, there will also be a minigame where players can win an iPhone 14, Skin Tokens, or the ability to choose two new Shikigami. All players will have the opportunity to win rewards based on the number of pre-registrations.
