MPL PH Season 11 Overview
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 11 (MPL PH S11) consists of two stages: the regular season and the playoffs.
Eight franchise ML teams will be competing for the MPL PH S11 championship title and the lion's share of the prize pool.
Moreover, this season will determine which teams will represent the country in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) in June 2023.
For the fourth consecutive season, the league has adopted a franchise-based system.
MPL PH Season 11 Game Format
Here's the tournament format for the MPL PH Season 11.
Regular Season (February 17 to April 16, 2023)
- All matches will be played in a double round-robin best-of-three (Bo3) format.
- A team will earn 3 points for winning 2-0 matches; 2 points for winning 2-1; 1 point for losing 1-2; and zero points for losing 0-2.
- The top 6 squads will advance to the playoffs stage.
Playoffs
- Hybrid elimination with some tweaks.
- 3rd to 6th seeded teams compete in Round 1 (Single elimination).
- 1st and 2nd seeded teams receive a round bye and will start in Round 2 (Double elimination).
- All matches, except Grand Finals, will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) series.
- Grand Finals will feature a best-of-seven (Bo7) series.
