Summoners War: Chronicles is set to release on March 9, 2023, globally, announced developer Com2uS. It will be available on mobile and PC platforms.
Chronicles is a global title based on the IP (intellectual property) of the international hit "Summoners War Sky Arena," which recorded 180 million downloads worldwide. The MMORPG was released in South Korea in August and in North America in November of last year.
On March 9, 2023, Chronicles will enter the global market with the expansion of its service to 170 countries, including Europe, South America, Asia, etc. It will be available in 14 languages, including English, German, French, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese.
"Summoners War: Chronicles" has been praised for its ability to incorporate the successful Summoners War strategic tactics and character agility stats. Particularly, it inherited the playstyle of Summoners War, in which a handful of powerful summons does not have a decisive effect on the game, but rather players must strategically employ summons with different attributes and abilities depending on the opponent. The game also introduces a new combat format that combines manual combat with the franchise's first-ever summoner-summoner team-up, creating a unique gameplay experience exclusive to Chronicles.
Com2uS opened the pre-registration globally, with the exception of South Korea and North America, and reached out to users worldwide in preparation for the global launch.
Ahead of the game's release, localized marketing campaigns were launched in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Europe.
The game aims to target the global market with its unique gameplay, potent intellectual property, and worldwide excitement. Summoners War Chronicles offers a unique gameplay experience with its captivating manual battles and new battle system in which the Summoner and Monsters form a team.
Once the game has made a successful global debut, blockchain technology will be implemented in July 2023, targeting the global market as a P2O (Play-To-Own) game where users can own the in-game values.
