Tower of Fantasy 2.4 Update is slated for release on March 30, 2023, as announced by publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio. The latest Tower of Fantasy version 2.4 patch, titled "Under the Grand Sea," which is a major expansion, will bring a brand new map, simulacra, and challenges.
In Under the Grand Sea, players will encounter exciting new adventures in the descending depths of this massive underwater world. Within each of the three layers of the new map — Grand Sea Island, Innars City, and Dragon Breath Volcano — players will face underwater combat, bosses, enemies, and various special exploration content.
Meanwhile, the full Tower of Fantasy game and the new update will also be available on the Epic Games store this summer.
Moreover, the new update will introduce brand new simulacra throughout the various areas of Under the Grand Sea.
Lan, one of these new simulacra, emerged from an unknown dimensional passage, claiming to be from Domain 9 and wishing to assist with the Grayspace Entity's continued expansion. Lan, clad in eccentric attire and sporting a fiery bird-shaped headpiece, attacks with a bizarre umbrella that releases enormous amounts of energy.
In addition to Lan, a number of other simulacra await players. Players can anticipate not only these new simulacra but also exciting new bosses and challenges.
As one of the new world bosses residing in the map's crater, the new Abyssant Haboela, a Behemoth Abyssant, utilizes its monstrous size and lava as a weapon.
Under the Grand Sea, players can anticipate events such as the new Underwater Request Mission, in which they are guided to explore the underwater world, obtain valuable rewards, or team up together to challenge the New Crusade Ring of Oblivion.
