Riot Games revealed Valorant's 22nd agent, Gekko, and announced that the 2023 VCT Champions is coming to Los Angeles.
New Agent: Gekko
Gekko was born and raised in Los Angeles. He is the newest Initiator for Valorant and is in charge of a group of dangerous creatures. His friends ran ahead, scattering enemies out of the way, while Gekko chased after them to get them back together so they could go again.
Gekko is set to release along with Valorant Episode 6 Act 2, which is slated for launch on March 8, 2023, at 2 AM (Philippine Time).

Dizzy (E)
EQUIP Dizzy FIRE to send Dizzy soaring forward through the air. Dizzy charges and then unleashes plasma blasts at enemies in line of sight. Enemies hit by her plasma are blinded. When Dizzy expires, she reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Dizzy charge after a short cooldown.
Wingman (Q)
EQUIP Wingman FIRE to send Wingman forward seeking enemies. Wingman unleashes a concussive blast toward the first enemy he sees ALT FIRE when targeting a Spike site or planted Spike to have Wingman defuse or plant the Spike. To plant, Gekko must have the Spike in his inventory. When Wingman expires, he reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Wingman charge after a short cooldown.
Mosh Pit (C)
EQUIP Mosh FIRE to throw Mosh like a grenade ALT FIRE to throw underhand. Upon landing, Mosh duplicates across a large area and then, after a short delay, explodes.
Thrash (X)
EQUIP Thrash FIRE to link with Thrash's mind and steer her through enemy territory. ACTIVATE to lunge forward and explode, detaining any enemies in a small radius. When Thrash expires, she reverts into a dormant globule INTERACT to reclaim the globule and gain another Thrash charge after a short cooldown. Thrash can be reclaimed once.
Valorant Champions Tour 2023
Riot Games said that VALORANT Champions, the global final where the 2023 VALORANT World Champion will be chosen, will be held in Gekko's home city of Los Angeles.
Currently, teams from North America, Brazil, Latin America, EMEA, and Asia are competing for the chance to earn one of 16 qualification slots for the tournament.
Last year's event saw more than 1.5 million concurrent viewers tuning in to the final and more than 1.25 million AMA viewers, representing a 34% increase in viewership year-over-year.
The event will be held at two well-known places in Los Angeles: the Shrine Auditorium for the early rounds and the KIA Forum for the final rounds.
