Following the launch of GCash Overseas, the Philippines-based e-wallet service is set to release its International Buy Load feature in 21 countries.
The service will be available in the following countries: Egypt, Ghana, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), Vietnam, Yemen, and Zambia. The complete launch is anticipated by the end of 2023.
This new feature will allow Filipinos to easily send and buy load credits from the aforementioned countries for their relatives abroad.
According to GCash, they are the first e-wallet in the country to introduce the feature, which will be under beta mode for a limited time. Similar to the existing buy load feature, the international load feature enables users to buy load for an international number.

With this feature, Filipinos can easily access 48 international telecommunications providers and buy prepaid load for their family members to help them stay connected wherever they are in the world.
Likewise, OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) in the United States can now purchase prepaid load for themselves and access other GCash services via the GCash app. Further, GCash is accessible in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy.
To enable the app's latest international offering GCash is tapping DT One, a global leader in digital transfer solutions. DT One also powers key payment and financial platforms such as Binance Pay, Grab, and PayPal, in addition to GCash.
With this new feature, mobile prepaid load top-up is made more accessible to Filipinos and their loved ones living abroad, allowing them to make international calls or send international text messages when they need to the most and to remain connected wherever they are in the world.
