realme C55, featuring Mini Capsule and 6.72-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, is set to release on April 18, 2023, in the Philippines.
The official launch of this latest addition to the C-Series lineup is slated for April 18 at 6 PM thru a livestream on the official realme pages on Facebook and TikTok.
According to realme Philippines, by introducing the realme C55, it "once again disrupts the entry-level smartphone market with fresh-looking, unique designs made available to Filipinos." It is the first globally mass-produced Android smartphone to feature the Mini Capsule, the mobile brand added. The feature helps users track Charging and Battery Status, Data Cap Usage and Step Tracking at a moment's notice.
realme C55 Highlights
The realme C55 is set up to be the best in its category because it adds changes to the C-Series that go above and beyond what people expect and aims to improve the user experience. realme is taking a big step forward by making the first Android Mini Capsule. This feature is wrapped around the hole for the selfie camera, and as it expands, it forms an animated box that can help you track charging and battery status, data cap usage, and steps.
With a thickness of 7.89mm, the realme C55 is also the thinnest C-Series phone to date. Compared to the realme C33 and realme C35, the latest smartphone has a more squared-off, boxy shape. This makes it easy to hold and feel good in the hand.
The realme C55 has the largest display of any realme C-Series phone at 6.7-inch (up from 6.6-inch), with an FHD+ resolution that is better than earlier versions of the realme C-Series (except for the realme C35). Also, the realme C55 will be the first in the C-Series to have a screen refresh rate of 90Hz.
The realme C55 has a modern look and comes in three beautiful colors: Sunshower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest. It will also come with two different storage options: 6GB RAM+128GB ROM or 8GB RAM+256GB ROM.
