The 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will run from May 10 to 14, 2023, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
For the first time, the medal event for esports will feature a standalone tournament for women players (under Female Category) starting May 10 to 11, 2023. It will be followed by matches for the Male Category from May 12 to 14, 2023.
The MLBB SEA Games 2023 tournament will be held in Naba Theather at NagaWorld 2, Phnom Penh, with the teams divided into two (2) groups.
Mobile Legends SEA Games 2023 (Female Category)
The six countries competing in the female category are the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, and Vietnam.
Format
All matches will be held in a single elimination best-of-one (Bo1) format on May 10. The top two teams from each group will proceed to battle it out for the championship title and podium finishes. The championship match will be in a best-of-five (Bo5) series scheduled for May 11.

The MLBB SEA Games 2023 Male category will witness nine countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, and Timor Leste vying for gold.
Format
The teams will undergo the same single elimination best-of-one (Bo1) match series. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next round in a best-of-three (3) series, with the grand final featuring a best-of-five (Bo5) format.
