Guide for SatLite GUA-S2S1TMO18 model
Step 1: Check that the model of your box is GUA-S2S1TMO18.
Step 2: Check the Channel Down and Up buttons on the front of the box to know the box version. This is version 1 if the buttons are "<" and ">". Version 2 when "CH-" and "CH+".
Step 3: Download the vSULIT upgrade file based on your box version at satlitetv.com/faq. Under "Select a topic", click "SatLite Box Upgrade", then "Mag-download ng software upgrade file".
Step 4: Open the downloaded file, and the file must be in .bin format (if it's in .rar format, unzip it first). Copy and paste it to your USB.
Step 5: Insert the USB into the SatLite box (the USB port is located at the back) and start the software upgrade. A message will appear that says, "UPGRADE FILE DETECTED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO UPGRADE THE BOX SOFTWARE?". Using the remote control, press "YES" to start the upgrade.
Press "START" and "YES".
Step 6: Wait for this message to appear: BOX SOFTWARE UPGRADE SUCCESSFUL. It will then restart automatically.
Step 7: Press DIAG on the remote and check if your box is successfully updated and matched the version of the software upgrade file

Guide for SatLite GUA-SS1TMO22 model
Step 1: Visit the SatLite TV Facebook page to see whether there's an advisory for a software update.
Step 2: Keep your box in standby mode or plugged in because software downloads and installs automatically when not in use.
Step 3: To check if it has been updated, press "DIAG" on the remote and see if the software version matches the one posted on the SatLite TV Facebook page's advisory.
