realme Mobile Legends S7 champs: Z4 Pegaxy, Omega Empress

Z4 Pegaxy and Smart Omega Empress were hailed champions of realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Season 7 in their respective divisions on July 1, 2023.

According to realme Philippines, they introduced the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) back in 2019. Seven successful seasons of the RMC, modeled after the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) tournament, have attracted a large fan base.

Z4 Esports Pegaxy and Smart Omega Empress won their respective divisions at the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Season 7 Grand Finals on July 1 at SM Megamall, capping off one of the most exciting seasons in RMC history.

This season, RMC had two groups for the first time in its long history: the Men's League and the first Women's League. On the men's side, Z4 Esports Pegaxy won after a tough set of Weekly Playoffs that began in March and ended with the Final Four facing off at the Grand Finals event. Smart Omega Empress, on the other hand, made history by becoming the first team to win the #RMCWomensLeague.

The winning teams received the lion's share of the PHP 1,000,000 prize pool, along with PHP 150K worth of realme devices.

Aside from these exciting amateur title matches, the RMC Season 7 Grand Finals also had a friendly but very competitive showmatch segment with professional Mobile Legends teams. The Philippine national esports team, SIBOL, and the teams Smart Omega and TNC Pro Team - ML competed against each other. In the end, SIBOL was too hard for any team to handle, and the national team won every game and finished with a perfect record.

One of the highlights of the RMC Season 7 Grand Finals was that experienced caster Chantelle won two major trophies. She also won Legendary Caster by coming in first in a poll on realme's official Facebook page on June 27. The casters gave her Finals MVP for the amazing showmatch.

Fans who went to the event in person or watched it online were thrilled by all the heart-pounding fights and Gloc-9's exciting performance. Several MLBB celebrities, who are well-known faces and voices in the sport, also took part in the events.

At SM Megamall, the Grand Finals were seen by about 3,000 people in person, while a huge 888,000 people watched the event livestreamed.
