Diablo Immortal will release its major update, Dark Rebirth, on September 21, 2023, Activision Blizzard announced. Check out the highlights of the latest patch below.
The township of Wortham is facing a serious problem of strange dreams and disappearances. To tackle this issue, you'll need to explore dark and iconic locations in the Diablo Universe, including the familiar dungeon of Tristram Cathedral, which is now filled with new and horrifying challenges. Additionally, you can try out a new version of team-based PvP multiplayer in the Alley of Blood.
Here are the highlights of the Dark Rebirth update coming to Diablo Immortal.
Explore iconic Diablo locations like the Mad King's manor and the new Tristram Cathedral Dungeon, where you'll battle The Butcher and other enemies.
The Alley of Blood is a new PvP activity where Shadow Clans can compete against Immortals in a team-based, single-lane battle. This is part of the Cycle of Strife, which includes the new Vigil of Blades component, where the winning team receives bonuses. The objective is to work together, destroy the opposing team's Sentry Towers, and ultimately ruin their Crystal Heart. It's a great opportunity to prove your worth in the Shadow War.
Starting from September 21, 3 a.m. and running until October 5, 3 a.m. server time, gamers can enjoy a 4v4 version of Alley of Blood. This mode is an excellent opportunity for new players to get a taste of the game, players who do not participate in the Cycle of Strife, and those who want additional experience playing Alley of Blood.
In Vigil of Blades, players can now participate through two different methods: Predictions system and Spectator mode. By accessing the Faction menu in the Cycle of Strife tab, players can view the current conflict status between the Shadows and Immortals factions and make their predictions on which faction will emerge victorious. Players who make predictions will receive rewards, and those who correctly predict the outcome will earn bonus rewards.
Get ready for the Champions' Revolt Limited-Time Event, which will be available from September 21 at 3 a.m. until October 8 at 3 a.m. server time. During the event, you can complete Champion's Revolt tasks to earn Champion's Commendations. Once you have collected enough of these commendations, you can exchange them for amazing rewards, including Gold, Scrap Materials, Legendary Items, Enchanted Dust, Telluric Pearls, and Legendary Crests.
Moreover, Diablo Immortal is adding new content, with three Legendary Gems, the Season 18 Battle Pass, new cosmetics in the Phantom Market, and the return of Recruit a Friend and Hungering Moon.
