MPL PH Season 12 Overview

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 12 includes two stages: the regular season and the playoffs.

Eight franchise MLBB teams will be competing for the MPL PH S12 championship title and the lion's share of the USD 150,000 prize pool.

Moreover, the top two teams will have the privilege of representing the country in the upcoming M5 World Championship set for December 2023.

For the fifth consecutive season, the league has adopted a franchise-based system.

MPL PH Season 12 Game Format

Here's the tournament format for the MPL PH Season 12.

Regular Season (September 8 to October 15, 2023)

• All matches will be played in a double round-robin best-of-three (Bo3) format.
• A team will earn 3 points for winning 2-0 matches; 2 points for winning 2-1; 1 point for losing 1-2; and zero points for losing 0-2.
• The top 6 squads will advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs (October 26 to 29, 2023)

• 6 teams will undergo Hybrid elimination.
• 3rd to 6th seeded teams battle it out in Round 1 (Single elimination).
• 1st and 2nd seeded teams receive a round bye and will begin in Round 2 (Double elimination).
• All matches, except Grand Finals, will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) series.
• Grand Finals will feature a best-of-seven (Bo7) series.
