PUBG Mobile has announced its Version 2.9 Update, bringing the new themed mode, Snowy Village, World of Wonder updates, and a new Royale Pass Ace. The launch of the version 2.9 Frozen Kingdom-themed mode is set for November 9, 2023, in the Philippines. Check out more details about the latest patch below.

New Game Mode: Snowy Village
Starting from November 7, 2023, until January 7, 2024, gamers can participate in battles in Snowy Village, a themed area that offers new frosty methods to move around and defeat enemy players. Additionally, players can enjoy more festive treats to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit.
PUBG Mobile players have the opportunity to engage in a battle within a two-story Ice Sculpture Plaza. They can explore the game map in new and exciting ways using Snow Rails and Snowboards. Further, players will be able to use Snowball Blasters that have exciting effects. If these blasters are used on enemies, they will turn them into snowmen. Moreover, they can be used to create a snowy cover on the ground or to freeze water solid.
Snowy Village features multiple snowmen that can be spotted around the area. Players may stumble upon a Lucky Snowman with three Snow Toddlers hidden nearby. Once a player finds a Snow Toddler, it will follow them like a pet, giving them the opportunity to bring it back to the Lucky Snowman. If the player finds and returns all three, they will be rewarded with a crate. Moreover, Lucky Ice offers even more rewards. Players must find the most effective way to break through the icy exterior in order to get to the prize inside.
As the Frost Festival approaches, reindeer will start to appear on the map. These festive vehicles are designed to accommodate two players, who can ride together to spread joy across the battleground. Additionally, the maps will be adorned with seasonal decorations, such as trees adorned with presents and stockings filled with supplies.
World of Wonder Updates
The latest update for PUBG Mobile (Version 2.9) introduces several gameplay enhancements, such as new additions to the World of Wonder creative mode with expanded PvE options, new Editor improvements, and a new Snowy Map Template, as well as Frost Festival objects.
On top of that, new updates are being added to the "Catch Me" gameplay template, along with improvements to the Skill Management Device, introducing skills related to transformation gameplay.
New Royale Pass Ace
From November 14, 2023, to January 13, 2024, players can access the new Royale Pass Ace.
By completing the RP missions, players can improve their rank and earn enticing rewards, such as custom color outfits, snowbike, and reindeer finishes, among others.
