Xiaomi lists devices to get HyperOS update in Q1 2024

Xiaomi has announced the Q1 2024 global rollout plan of HyperOS, listing the devices that will receive the new operating system update.

In an X (Twitter) post, Xiaomi detailed the global rollout of HyperOS, the successor of MIUI.
Xiaomi HyperOS starts rolling out! Eligible users will receive OTA updates gradually and can experience the new features!

Along with the announcement, Xiaomi listed all the initial devices to get the HyperOS update scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024 (around January-March):
  • Xiaomi 13 Ultra
  • Xiaomi 13 Pro
  • Xiaomi 13
  • Xiaomi 13T Pro
  • Xiaomi 13T
  • Redmi Note 12
  • Redmi Note 12S
  • Xiaomi Pad 6
  • POCO F5

The phone manufacturer, as you may have noticed, plans to roll out updates for its latest products first, except for the Redmi Note 12 and 12S. This could be attributed to their immense popularity and high demand in various markets, including the Philippines.

Further, Xiaomi noted that HyperOS will be released on a batch-by-batch basis. Hence, you will need to exercise some patience to get your hands on it.

Meanwhile, the mobile brand said that release plans for other models will be announced at a later date. It also encourages its users to follow their social media channels to get the latest information. So, no worries if your devices are not listed here. Xiaomi has announced that over 117 devices across the Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones and tablets will receive the update.

To check if the update is available on your phone, just do the following steps:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select About phone.
  3. Tap on "MIUI version" at the top.

The mobile brand asks eligible users to wait patiently if their device is covered but hasn't received the over-the-air (OTA) update.

Xiaomi also advised eligible users to share their valuable feedback. They can simply go to the system app "Services & feedback" on their phone.

HyperOS is the newest operating system by Chinese mobile brand Xiaomi that's designed to power your mobile device, home, and even your car seamlessly. In addition to a sleek and modern redesign, the OS boasts a faster kernel that makes it lighter and quicker to install than MIUI.
