Garena Undawn announced that the Frost Rescue content update will be released on March 21, 2024. In this new update, Garena Undawn players can battle against friends in an all-new 1v1 Duel mode, unlock Undawn's lore and exciting rewards in the 4-part Light in the Night event, or join the Survival King Challenge to win a Permanent Gun Skin: Scarlet M3 Finish and in-game growth materials.
Further, players who download the latest Garena Undawn patch and log in on March 21 and 22, 2024, will be able to redeem up to 28,888 Silver and an Alloy Pack. Rewards, including exploration medals and a new settlement, are also available via the numerous Frost Rescue events.

Additionally, fans and players can look forward to a special in-game showdown in May 2024, which will star more than 60 top teams from the Raven Invitational.
New 1v1 Duel Mode
In the new 1v1 Duel mode, Garena Undawn players can challenge other Survivors in the same location to a battle. The matches will last for sixty seconds (or 1 minute) and are meant to be fast-paced and intense. Challengers can choose the location of the duels; they can be in their own homesteads or settlements, and they have to beat their opponents before time runs out.
Any Ravens nearby are free to walk through the duel area, watch the fight, and cheer for their squadmates.
New Light in the Night Event: 4 Gameplay Modes Available
The Frost Rescue update will include the event Light in the Night, which will be exclusive from March 21 to April 3, 2024. The event is of a limited duration and closely adheres to the latest chapter of Undawn's lore, which features Cedarville and the enigmatic 'Night Light.' The once-desolate Cedarville gradually gained popularity as a refuge for Survivors due to its advantageous location and abundant supplies atop the snow-covered Mount Ollie.
The four (4) gameplay modes during the themed event in Garena Undawn are as follows:
- Glide Rescue: Engage in exhilarating hang glider challenges across ten distinct locations in order to earn rewards based on your performance.
- Power Source Preparation: In order to prepare for life in the icy mountains, survivors will be required to search for particular items. In the burgeoning Cedarville, players can unlock a new settlement upon locating every item.
- Clue Survey: Observe every inch of the enigmatic Mt. Ollie in search of secret audio recordings and photo clues. This gameplay mode is accessible in six (6) series, and in each series, an exploration medal is available for redemption.
- Special Edition Compilation: Keep a close eye on the daily updates from NPCs; they might contain clues that lead to tasks that require you to do undercover investigative tasks. As players finish tasks, they'll be able to unlock corresponding chapters of the storyline, which will let them learn more about Undawn's story.
Moreover, players can get Cedarville Rescue Medals by completing Glide Rescue, Power Source Preparation, and Clue Survey. These medals can be used to redeem prizes like a new "Raven's Shadow" snowboard and a limited edition "I am the only light" title.
How to Win a Free Permanent Gun Skin in the Survival King Challenge
From March 22 to April 3, 2024, Garena Undawn players can join the Survival King Challenge to win a free Permanent Gun Skin: Scarlet M3 Finish (x1) and growth materials such as Chip Component Treasure Chest (x2) and Vanguard Key (x2).
To get the free rewards, players will have to complete 3 out of 5 challenges and submit a completion form.
Here are the challenges:
- Obtain a First Clear in the Blazar Restricted Area: Nightmare Phantasm (Easy) mode.
- Clear 110 stages in the Hold the Line mode.
- Complete Astral Tower 105F.
- Complete the Gliding Rescue with a Silver Cup on any map.
- Gain 1 victory in Aeronautical Base.
