Powerful Performance
Inside, the ROG Phone 8 series has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which is a powerful octa-core processor. It has ultra-fast 8533 Mbps LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for the best performance. A unique Rapid-Cooling Conductor design draws heat away from the processor so it stays cool during long game sessions. With its smaller size and better performance, the brand-new AeroActive Cooler X clip-on device can cool the phone by up to 26°C. Plus, it's the first gaming smartphone in the world that meets IP68 standards for resistance to dust and water, so you can play games anywhere, at any time.
Ultra-bright Display
The ROG Phone 8 series features a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED screen. For power efficiency, LTPO technology automatically adjusts refresh rates between 1 to 120 Hz according to the task. Its screen refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz enable smooth gaming and rapid response. A high peak brightness of 2500 nits ensures good visibility for gaming or watching videos in strong sunshine.
Pro-level AI Cameras
ROG Phone 8 series' powerful tri-camera technology gives gamers and creators infinite photographic opportunities. Sony's latest 50-megapixel image sensor produces clear images in the main camera. Its 24 mm wide-angle lens is great for street photography, and its 2X zoom mode makes it a 50 mm prime lens for portrait and food photography. The 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0 elevates photography and videography with smoother films and shake-free images. Hardware anti-shake OIS and an improved EIS algorithm that detects movement using gyroscopic data stabilize video. The dynamic field of view (FOV) adjustment keeps videos firm.
ROG Phone 8 series has a 3X telephoto lens for the first time to record faraway objects. Even in low light with Night Photography mode, the lens's OIS produces sharp pictures. ASUS HyperClarity technology maintains every detail in photographs, even at 30X zoom, using unprocessed (RAW) files. The telephoto camera uses adaptive EIS to stabilize footage at 10X zoom.
The ROG Phone 8 series also has a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera with a free-form lens and advanced algorithms that minimize lens distortion and produce natural-looking, stunning images and videos.

With Background Mode, switching a game to the background is now a breeze, and X Capture lets you capture those crucial moments without any hassle. The AI Grabber is intuitive and assists you in capturing text with ease, while X Sense 2.0 offers tips and tricks to help you perform better during gameplay.
AI Grabber now has the ability to extract text directly from games using Machine-Learning Recognition technology. Moreover, with enhanced AI Pattern Recognition technology, X Capture and X Sense 2.0 now support a wider range of new top games.
