Converge ICT has restored its internet connection services (like FiberX) after it went down for a short time on June 17, 2024.
Converge Support posted in X (Twitter):
We have fully restored internet services in all affected areas of the service interruption experienced at around 9:00 am today, June 17, 2024.
Converge also recommends its subscribers check the quality of their internet connection by doing a speed test.
Earlier in the day, Converge users experienced connectivity issues, including no internet connection. With this, the company released an advisory on X (Twitter).
Converge Support said:
You may have experienced connectivity issues starting at around 9:00 a.m. today, June 17, 2024. We have addressed the issue, and our services are being restored. We expect full recovery of your internet connectivity by 12 noon today. A service ticket is not required.
Converge noted that users who still continue to experience connectivity issues after 12 noon should try to reboot their modem (router) and perform simple troubleshooting.
If the problem still persists, Converge said customers can message them through their official X (Twitter) account @Converge_CSU.
According to Downdetector, a platform that monitors service outages, subscribers in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Tuguegarao, Baguio, Camarines Sur, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and some parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, have reported service downtimes.
At 8:53 AM, the platform received the most reports, with 3,256 reports indicating that Converge was down.
