According to Lenovo, the latest generation of Legion and LOQ devices "can effortlessly handle the heavy demands of AAA games while managing overheating issues" to bring smooth gameplay.

The latest gaming devices set the norm for AI-enhanced power efficiency. The 2024 lineup of Legion and Lenovo LOQ devices use the new Lenovo LA AI Core Chips, which provide better FPS and a top-tier experience with completely customizable AI-assisted performance boosts. Gamers can also expect a new thermal design solution for long gaming sessions.

Lenovo and Intel reinvented thermal design with the Legion Coldfront Hyper thermal solution for gaming laptop airflow. Exclusive to the Lenovo Legion 7i and Legion 5i, this revolutionary system transforms chassis airflow and channels hot air from the processors through a central hyperbaric chamber to maximize heat management. As the bottom D-cover separates hot air from cold air pulled in by two fans, gamers may expect cooler temperatures and higher frame rates.

Lenovo's entry-level gaming line, the Lenovo LOQ, was upgraded. These laptops use Lenovo's hyperchamber thermal technology to draw up to 25W in Extreme Mode while cooling skin by 2°C. Up to 2dB less fan noise than the previous generation keeps CPUs cool and performing at their best.
