Cabal Mobile PH-VN is slated to shut down its server on August 25, 2024, after almost 3 years of operation, announced publisher PlayPark.
Just last month, its PC counterpart, Cabal Online, closed its server. Now, the mobile MMORPG Cabal M: Heroes of Nevareth is facing the same fate.
Cabal Mobile released the announcement regarding its impending closure (titled Sunset Notice) via its official Facebook page. You can read the full statement below.
In 2021, Cabal Online: Heroes of Nevareth exploded onto the mobile gaming scene and with it came the overwhelming support of the community. In such a short time, you have turned Cabal Mobile into a home, complete with friendships, family, and memories.
This is why we are extremely heartbroken to inform everyone that on August 25, 2024, 11:59 PM (GMT+8), Cabal Mobile: Heroes of Nevareth PH and VN will be closing its service. This devastating news came as a shock to all of us, especially when we have experienced nothing but growth and massive support from the community.
The Team has had many back-and-forth sessions with our developer-partner, but ultimately, they decided to move forward without PlayPark. All game data up until the service closure will be securely stored on Cabal M's server. Whether the game data will be used in the future is already beyond our control, but our memories live on.
We are immensely grateful for the almost 3 years of incredible support and dedication you have shown. You have propelled Cabal Mobile to record-breaking heights, and we will forever be thankful and proud of what the YOU, the community, has built. While Cabal Mobile: Heroes of Nevareth service is ending, we look forward to seeing everyone again in the next step of our gaming journey.

Meanwhile, the team also reminded that other details of the service closure and PlayPark All-Stars (PPAS) 2024 Finals will be posted in the coming days through their FB page.
To recap, Cabal Mobile was launched in the Philippines and Vietnam by PlayPark in August 2021. It was first announced in April, then it opened pre-registration in June and conducted a closed beta test (CBT) in July. Subsequently, Cabal M Nevareth League, its pioneering e-sports tournament series, started in September 2021 and held its grand finals in April 2022.
Cabal Mobile features a wide array of PvP modes to test players' skills and prove their strength. Some of the game modes are 1v1, team battles, Open PK, War Room, Guild War, and Nation War. Players can choose from 8 powerful classes: Warrior, Blader, Wizard, Gladiator, Force Blader, Force Shielder, Force Archer, and Force Gunner. Nevareth's world is comprised of two rival nations, Capella and Procyon.
