HoYoverse has launched Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Update, introducing Natlan, the sixth nation of Teyvat. This major expansion, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," features new characters, Saurians, boss enemies, and adorable creatures.

Features of Genshin Impact Version 5.0:
- New Nation: Natlan, the Nation of War and Pyro, has revealed the first three of six tribes.
- Tribes: Children of Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, People of the Springs
- Open to early and mid-game players: Map unlock criteria – complete all Mondstadt Archon Quests and reach AR 19; Archon Quest unlock criteria – complete all of Liyue's Archon Quests and reach AR 28.
- Transform into Natlan's Saurians: Koholasaurus (swim), Tepetlisaurus (burrow underground, climb cliffs), Yumkasaurus (fly)
- Characters: Mualani (5-star, Hydro, Catalyst), Kinich (5-star, Dendro, Claymore), Kachina (4-star, Geo, Polearm)
- Banner: 1st – Mualani, Kachina, Kaedehara Kazuha; 2nd – Kinich, Raiden Shogun

Overview of Natlan
At Natlan, early and mid-game players can join the adventure. Complete all Mondstadt Archon Quests to unlock a Natlan Teleport Waypoint. After gaining Adventure Rank (AR) 28 and finishing all Liyue Archon Quests, players can use Quick Start to begin Natlan Archon Quests.
Further, players can turn into Saurians, Natlan's dragons. Each Saurian has unique exploration abilities for Natlan's diverse geography. Tepetlisaurus can dig underground and scale cliffs, Yumkasaurus can drag themselves in the desired direction and reach tremendous heights, and Koholasaurus can move quickly on water and across liquid Phlogiston.
Three New Characters
Three new Natlan characters—Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina—offer fascinating new playstyles with improved mobility.
A Sharky Surfboard lets five-star Hydro catalyst Mualani surf diverse surfaces and bite her opponents.
In his debut as a five-star Dendro Claymore warrior, Kinich uses a grappling hook to swing through the air and unleash devastating Loop Shots.
Four-star Geo polearm wielder Kachina can ride her Turbo Twirly to fight and climb cliffs.
More Events and Updates
Version 5.0's Event Wishes (or banners) will premiere Mualani, Kachina, and a rerun of Kaedehara Kazuha in the first phase, while Kinich will debut with Raiden Shogun in the second phase.
Moreover, Version 5.0 brings free rewards for Genshin Impact's fourth anniversary. From the Standard Wish lineup, players can invite a free 5-star character. In the daily login event, they can win up to 10 pieces of Intertwined Fate. Through in-game mail, they can receive 1,600 Primogems, two special gadgets, and more.
For system optimizations, there's a new tool that lets players acquire an Artifact with some custom affixes, as well as additional updates to the Character Event Wish and Weapon Event Wish.
On August 28, 2024, Genshin Impact officially released Version 5.0, its major annual update, which introduced the Natlan nation. You can take part in the journey on PlayStation, PC, iOS, and Android thanks to the game's cross-progression and co-op features.
