NetEase Games and Marvel Games have announced that Psylocke, a fan favorite, has been added to the roster of Marvel Rivals, a new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter.

For the uninitiated, this upcoming cross-platform hero shooter game allows players to assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains who slug it out with unique powers across a dynamic selection of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse.
The highly anticipated shooter game Marvel Rivals will be released on December 6, 2024. All heroes will be enabled and available for free to play at the launch and beyond.
Meanwhile, let us go back to the new character. Psylocke uses an extensive array of psionic abilities to outwit and outflank her opponents. Psylocke's ability to cloak herself and appear invisible before attacking, as well as her agile speed and quick motions, enable her to dash across brief distances. Psylocke's ultimate ability unites all of these elements as she charges across the battlefield with her wings fully extended, eliminating all rivals in her path.
Peach Momoko's X-Men: Demon Days served as inspiration for this Psylocke version. Marvel Rivals artists and award-winning comic book artist Momoko collaborated on the concept of the Psylocke character. The voice of Psylocke will be provided by the renowned Japanese actress Alpha Takahashi, who has previously been heard in Cyberpunk 2077 and other well-known games.
Psylocke's story goes like this. The telepathic ninja Sai, a wandering warrior in feudal Japan, has dedicated her life to defeating ancient demons and monsters. Psylocke will not cease her quest until all Yokai have been defeated by her psychic blade, accompanied by her wolf, Logan. The Collector placed Sai on exhibit after the Timestream Entanglement tore her from her reality.
Further, she was able to escape her cage with the assistance of her newfound allies and discovered that other familiar warriors may still be present. She is now on a mission to gather those heroes, resolve the conflict, and return to her homeland.
