M6 Group Draw results revealed
On November 8, 2024, MOONTON Games, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) creator and publisher, held the M6 tournament draw and announced partnerships with the Malaysian government. Fans in Malaysia can expect an orchestral performance by the Kuala Lumpur Orchestra and carnival activities.
The "M6 Unveiling: Greater Than Ever" event took place offline at the Spacerubix sports complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with support from Esports Integrated (ESI), the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), and the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).
The M Series, one of the world's biggest esports tournaments, is mobile esports' highest honor. Its sixth edition, M6, will take place later this month in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital, where the world's top 23 Mobile Legends teams will compete for glory and the lion's share of the USD 1 million (around PHP 58M) prize pool.
During the "M6 Unveiling: Greater Than Ever" event, the M6 draw was conducted live. The 8 teams from the Wild Card Stage (slated for November 21-24, 2024) and the 15 teams from the Main Stage (scheduled for November 28-December 15, 2024) respectively discovered their match-ups.
The tournament draw sees two tournament favorites clash in the first round of the Swiss Stage – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 14 champions, Team Liquid ID, will contend with MPL Philippines Season 14 champions, Fnatic ONIC PH.

A first for Mobile Legends competitions, the M6 Grand Finals will commence with an orchestral performance by the Kuala Lumpur Orchestra, as announced by MOONTON Games. The Malaysia Digital Economy (MDEC) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, DBKL) collaborated to organize the performance.
In addition to serving as a showcase of the most exceptional Mobile Legends talent in the world, the M6 will also host a carnival at Axiata Arena from December 13 to 15, which will feature a variety of family-friendly booths and activities. More information regarding registration will be provided at a later date, but admission to the carnival will be entirely free.
Moreover, the "M6LAYSIA MEMBARA" event, which translates to "M6laysia Ignites" in Bahasa Malaysia, will take place at Bukit Bintang on the morning of November 30. Prominent Malaysian personalities, including Soloz, Hairul Azreen, Alieff Irfan, Ryan Bakery, Zizan Razak, and Zubir Khan, as well as Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Adam Adli, will pass a blazing torch to the pedestal in Lot 10, similar to the Olympic Torch Relay. This event serves as the conclusion of the #M6laysiakuGemilang (which means "Glory to Malaysia") campaign, which encourages Malaysians to support their respective states, each of which is represented by a local personality.
YB Adam Adli said:
Esports has grown tremendously, both globally and here in Malaysia. Our games industry has seen an average growth of 8.9 percent annually since 2020, with over 50 percent of Malaysians now actively engaged as gamers. This robust ecosystem offers diverse career pathways, from professional athletes to team owners, content creators, and event organizers.
Soloz was cited by YB Adam Adli as a source of inspiration for individuals who aspire to participate in the esports industry.
Adli added:
A prime example is our own Soloz – once a national MLBB athlete, now the most-watched Malaysian creator and co-owner of Team Vamos, who will proudly represent Malaysia in M6.
Meanwhile, MPL Philippines champions and runners-up Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP) and Aurora MLBB (RORA) represent the Philippines at the world's largest MLBB esports event to compete for its 5th world championship belt.
