Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Highlights

Next week is full of excitement, but in the meantime, check out the latest season's exciting features.

Verdansk Returns to Basics: Enjoy the game with classic features and gameplay that fans love.

Movement Adjustments: Devs have fine-tuned movement to feel more like the early days of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Classic Experience: Play with 150 players, hear the original announcer, shoot during freefall, and see original intro cinematics before you land.

Original Game Mechanics: You'll find original Supply Boxes, Armor Satchels, Floating Loot, and Buy Station menus. These work alongside current Loadouts and Perks, with High-Value Loot Zones offering premium loot across the map.

Retro Refresh: Loot is getting a retro update. Thermite is back, along with Contracts, Public Events, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks, all based on Verdansk from 2020.

Vehicles: Devs are bringing back the helicopter and four ground vehicles, all adjusted for better steering and handling like in the original game.

Circle Collapse Mechanics: The Circle Collapse will work just like you remember from five years ago. Loadout Drops will appear at the second and fifth circles, and devs have reduced so-called end-game "dead zones."

Elevators Coming Soon: Exterior Ascenders will come later in the season. They'll be added after devs reintroduce the original gameplay from March 2020. Devs have also worked to limit rooftop exploits.

Map Changes: As Season 3 goes on, devs will open new Points of Interest (POI). This is just the beginning of map updates planned for future seasons.

Quality of Life Updates: Look out for various QOL improvements, including Squad Redeploys at Buy Stations, detailed Death recaps, attachment descriptions during Weapon Inspects, and a HUD flag to show when your Loadout is ready to buy.

Secrets of Verdansk: Expect more revelations, hidden clues, and Easter Eggs throughout Season 3 and beyond.
