2025 Esports World Cup unveils $70m prize pool, schedule

The 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) is set to start in July with a record-breaking prize pool of USD 70.45 million (roughly PHP 4 billion), featuring a massive lineup of 24 participating game titles from different platforms: PC, mobile, and console. The second iteration of the biggest multi-title esports event will be hosted once again in the largest city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

Compared to the 2024 edition, EWC 2025 introduces 5 new titles (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Chess, CrossFire, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and VALORANT) and removes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Fortnite.
