Honor of Kings (HOK) PKL, other regional leagues kick off

Wildly famous mobile MOBA game Honor of Kings (HOK) announced the details of its regional professional leagues, which will start on April 11, 2025.

Here are the seven inaugural regional pro leagues:

• Philippine Kings League (PKL)
• Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL)
• Malaysia Honor of Kings League (MKL)
• Major East League (KME) - Japan, South Korea, South Asia, MENA
• Major West League (KMW) - Europe, Turkey, Latin America, North America
• Honor of Kings Brazil (CHOKBR)
• Wildcard Kings Series (WKS) - SEA, Macau, HK

Over the span of two months, teams will compete against each other to be crowned the best in their respective regions and qualify for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC).

The KWC will happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing together eighteen teams worldwide to compete at a high level. This year's KWC is vital because global teams will face the champion of China's King Pro League (KPL) Spring Season for the first time.

Path from Grassroots to Professional

Starting in 2025, the Regional Leagues will enhance the Honor of Kings Esports system by offering more competitive opportunities for teams. Teams in these leagues qualify through the Open Series Split 3, which welcomes grassroots and semi-pro teams. The Open Series has no rank restrictions and allows players from all backgrounds to take part. This season, over 150,000 players from around the world signed up for Open Series Split 3.

Honor of Kings aims to be inclusive and offers clear paths for grassroots and semi-pro teams to reach the Regional Pro Leagues and global events. More details about Open Series Split 4 will be announced soon.
