Details for Marvel Rivals Season 2 were revealed. The Hellfire Gala begins on April 11, 2025, with new maps, heroes, features, and special events. Emma Frost and Ultron are joining the roster; there's a Razer collaboration and more.
New Heroes
The Hellfire Gala will last for three months and be split into two parts. Emma Frost will be released in the first part, followed by Ultron in the second part.
Their story goes like this. Emma Frost has organized the yearly Hellfire Gala on the Mutant sanctuary of the Living Island Krakoa to celebrate the end of the Eternal Night tale and Dracula's defeat. We all know heroes never get a calm vacation. Ultron unexpectedly crashes the party, forcing the heroes to save Krakoa's greatest prize.
Emma Frost, with a Vanguard role, is a master of telepathy and a radiant diamond on the battlefield. As needed, she can use her telepathic and diamond skills to protect her allies and defeat her enemies.
New Maps, Team-Ups, and More Updates
Hellfire Gala: Krakoa, Marvel Rivals' first new map, will include a lavish Hellfire Gala with lush botanicals and stunning fireworks. The other map will be revealed later.
Season 2 will also add new Team-Up Abilities and change or remove certain existing ones. Further, the Marvel Rivals team is adding weekly missions to complement daily ones, allowing active players to fully claim Battle Pass rewards by season's end.
Moreover, seasons will be two months long, starting in Season 3, with a new hero each month. The developers will also adjust relevant systems and provide details before Season 3's launch.
Meanwhile, the official Marvel Rivals Discord community has over 4 million users, making it one of the largest. Join the Discord community to chat with other players and enter events to win Steam Cards, Units, and AMD graphics cards. The hero shooter game topped Steam's global top sales chart after its December 6 launch, with over 10 million registered users in 72 hours and 40 million gamers to date.
