
Riot Games Philippines announced the return of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2025, the second season of its League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament, with a bigger prize pool of 1.5 million pesos. The developer's roadmap will run from Q2 to Q4, aiming to fuel the competitive play scene and gaming communities in the country.
Wild Rift will feature revamped tournament formats, weekly creator spotlights like Wild Rift Wednesdays, regional and amateur tournaments for grassroots players via Ground Zero, and more epic moments at Riot's celebration of Wild Rift PH's 5th anniversary this October.

Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2025
With the debut of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open in 2024, Riot PH focused on strengthening the Wild Rift competitive gaming ecosystem at the grassroots level, opening a new chapter of rewarding experiences and possibilities for devoted players and the Filipino gaming community.

Riot Games' Wild Rounds Circuit provides player-engaging events before the competition to thrill fans and attract new challengers.
- Wild Rift Wednesdays, a weekly content creator and community play series, began in April. Fan-favorite gaming celebrities and more Wild Rift PH community engagement are highlighted in the weekly call-to-play.
- Ground Zero Tournament, a series of grassroots and amateur events, started in May, showcasing hyper-local talent from regional communities nationwide. Fans should watch these events until October to observe amateur players engage in thrilling bouts like their pro stars.
Riot Games PH opens Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2025 registration in May. With a nationwide open format, the second season of the competition has three quarter splits.
- Split 1 registration opens in May for interested players. On June 9, brackets will be drawn. On June 10, they will be announced on Wild Rift's social media pages.
- Groups A & B will play on June 14–15, and groups C & D on June 21–22. The top four teams from each group advance to the Top 16, with brackets published on June 25.
- Fans can watch the livestream of the Top 16 and Top 8 matches scheduled for June 28 and 29, respectively, followed by the high-stakes grand finals on July 5.

Wild Rounds: Smash
With the introduction of Wild Rounds: Smash, the hype continues. This year's all-star invite Wild Rift tournament will include fan-favorite pro teams and prominent Filipino gaming influencers to be announced soon competing against other regions under updated tournament mechanics.
Riot Games is celebrating Wild Rift's five-year anniversary in the Philippines with thrilling in-game events, special rewards, and surprise content for the community this October.
