Garena announced Free Fire's upcoming collaboration with Netflix blockbuster Squid Game. This surprise crossover event celebrates Free Fire's 8th anniversary and marks its second partnership with Netflix (via Money Heist).
Further, this big announcement comes ahead of Squid Game's third and last season's global premiere on June 27, 2025.
In this collab, expect classic games and outfits from the hit survival thriller series to launch in Free Fire this July.
Harold Teo, Garena Free Fire producer, stated:
We are thrilled to partner with Netflix once again — this time to bring the globally beloved Squid Game into Free Fire in a way that resonates with our battle royale-loving community. By reimagining Squid Game's mysterious games and unique elements, we hope to create unforgettable moments as we celebrate eight amazing years with our players.
Starting July 14, 2025, all Garena Free Fire players can experience Squid Game's iconic challenges like "Red Light, Green Light." If you remember, a mode that was inspired only by the TV series was released before.
Moreover, there will be themed skins, exclusive accessories, and signature voice lines for a fully immersive in-game experience.
