On September 10, 2025, Genshin Impact will launch Version Luna I: Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, HoYoverse announced. This major update, version 6.0, will introduce the much-awaited Nod-Krai region, along with three new characters, abundant 5th anniversary rewards, and gameplay enhancements.
As a reminder, also redeem Genshin Impact codes for a variety of free rewards, primarily primogems.

Genshin Impact Version Luna I Update Overview
Addition of Nod-Krai
After exploring Natlan, players can sail north to Nod-Krai's three islands and meet its residents. Lauma of the Frostmoon Scions fights the Fatui, Flins resists the "Wild Hunt," and Nasha Town brings new allies in the new Archon Quests. The Fatui Harbinger, "Marionette," or Sandrone, reveals the Fatui's plan to harness the moon's power. Columbina, once "The Damselette" Harbinger, has settled in Nod-Krai, where she is adored as the Moon Maiden. Players may receive great journey blessings from meeting her.
Complete Mondstadt's main story and reach Adventure Rank (AR) 28 to unlock Nod-Krai, or finish Liyue's story to start the new Archon Quests.
Kuuvahki, an ancient elemental force, shapes Nod-Krai's geography and inhabitants. Players can use this power, buried in plants, systems, and the environment, to conquer exploratory challenges. They may also transform into the Kuuhenki, a rare elemental lifeform that moves quickly through mist and Moonlanes. Kuuvahki appears in adversaries and friends in battle, forcing players to use focused methods and giving some characters Lunar Reactions.
3 New Characters from Nod-Krai
Lauma (5-Star, Dendro Catalyst), Flins (5-Star, Electro Polearm), and Aino (4-Star, Hydro Claymore) will join the roster.
Lauma, a Moonchanter and Catalyst user, introduces the Lunar-Bloom reaction with her Dendro abilities. She can augment her team's Bloom damage with Verdant Dew from the Lunar-Bloom reaction. She can also transform into a half-human, half-deer to speed and leap with agility due to her special relationship with animals.
Flins, a Polearm user, directs Electro to use Lunar-Charged strikes to inflict massive damage or a hail of spear attacks. As a skilled Lightkeeper, he can hear Wild Hunt whispers while exploring.
Aino, a Hydro Claymore user and Ineffa creator, brings mechanical genius and homeyness. The duck-shaped battle device "Knuckle Duckle," made by her workshop, adds fun to the journey. Aino can be recruited for free by completing Nod-Krai's new Archon Quests.

Players can now explore the bustling Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop with Ineffa and Aino, relive the Frostmoon Scions' legends with Lauma, or discover the Lightkeepers' secrets at Flins's home with the new "Meeting Points" feature.
New optimizations and rewards will enhance your journey. Adventure EXP can now be acquired in additional ways, such as speeding up levels and Battle Pass rewards, which will include harvestable minerals. The version Luna I lets you evaluate an Artifact's locked affix and save additional team presets with larger party setup slots. The largest adjustment is Masterless Stella Fortuna, which lets you convert an extra 5-star Stella Fortuna to level characters to Level 100.
Further, Genshin Impact revealed further details about "Miliastra Wonderland," the UGC Gameplay System that lets users build and enjoy stages generated by other gamers. The "Miliastra Sandbox" editor lets creators use Genshin Impact's tools and assets to create and share simulations, party games, survival challenges, and more. Version Luna II will add Miliastra Wonderland, enhancing Genshin Impact's gameplay in daring new ways.
