Over 50K examinees have successfully passed the August 2025 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Subprofessional levels, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced today, October 13. The government agency also revealed the full list of passers for both levels.
Two important dates were also unveiled by CSC. To know your CSE PPT rating/score/result, you can check it on OCSERGS starting October 25. Further, those who passed the grueling state exam can claim their Certificate of Eligibility (COE), the temporary one that is printed on CSC letterhead, for free by November 18.

According to the government agency, a total of 50,096 out of 331,675 examinees passed the recent civil service examination held in various testing centers across the Philippines, logging a 15.1 percent passing rate.
Breaking down the results:
- Prof level: 45,730 passers (15.14 percent of 302,028)
- SubProf level: 4,366 passers (14.73 percent of 29,647)
The eligibility examination was conducted on August 10, 2025, at sixteen CSC ROs (regional offices) nationwide: National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON/MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The number of items for CSE-PPT Pro and SubPro is 170 and 165, respectively. Core subjects include numerical and verbal abilities.
To qualify for a civil service job, test takers must meet certain requirements, like education and experience. The CSC has stated that those who score at least 80 percent on the test will be eligible for a post in a government agency.

Otherwise, you can visit the Exam Portal (https://exam.csc.gov.ph) to verify if you are on the list of passers. Click the "CSE PPT 10 August 2025" on the side menu. Fill out the form, which includes three fields: surname, type of exam, and region, and submit it.
