A long-term collaboration has been inked between Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines and Sony Music, MLBB developer Moonton Games announced.

This historic partnership, as per Moonton, aims to support Filipino talent, create new global visibility and discovery opportunities, and strengthen the intersection of music, gaming, and entertainment as the esports scene evolves into a broader entertainment economy.

Lee Viloria, MOONTON Games PH Esports head of business development and partnerships, stated:

Barq, UNXPCTD, Nobita, Ace Banzuelo to perform at MPL PH S16 Playoffs

The MPL PH x Sony Music collab is one of the year's most dynamic crossovers. Music will drive MPL Philippines Season 16 from theme songs to live performances, boosting fan engagement, community connection, and every highlight and victory.


Sony Music artists will perform at the MPL Arena, the major tournament hall that will host 2,000 attendees, and MPL Festival Superfan City, the MLBB esports and gaming communities' newest cultural showcase that celebrates the league's history through various activations.

The performers include Barq (Arkin Magalona). His father was Francis "Kiko" Magalona (Francis M), a famous Filipino rapper. On October 22, 2025, the Season 16 Playoffs begin with his performance.

October 23 will feature Filipino rap group UNXPCTD, known for "Pass Sa Lowkey," and the new track "EA na Taga."

On October 25, Nobita, famed for their viral hit single "Ikaw Lang," will perform with MPL PH casters at MPL Festival Superfan City.

On Grand Finals Day, October 26, Ace Banzuelo, a self-taught singer-songwriter and music producer, known for "Muli," will perform at MPL Festival Superfan City and MPL Arena.

This groundbreaking effort is the league's heartfelt thank you to fans for their support throughout 16 incredible seasons. Esports Charts reports that MPL PH had a record 1.8 million peak concurrent viewers (PCV), making it the most-watched local professional esports league.
