Finally, vivo OriginOS Global Version is coming and will also be available here in the Philippines. The global launch of the mobile brand's newest custom Android skin will be streamed live from Shanghai, China, on October 15, 2025.
OriginOS, introduced exclusively in China in 2020, has a smooth user interface, smart features, and high customization. Until today, vivo smartphones outside China have utilized Funtouch OS, the brand's popular Android skin since 2013.
Now, the switch to OriginOS is a big deal for millions of vivo users around the world, particularly here in the Philippines.
In a short video released by vivo Philippines on X, vivo SVP and CTO Shi Yujian stated:

vivo X300 Series, first to receive OriginOS Global Version
The initial smartphones to use OriginOS 6, which is based on the latest Android 16 operating system, will be the vivo X300 Series. Units will be available worldwide in October 2025.
