
Over the weekend, Garena wrapped up the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025 in Jakarta, marking a thrilling end to the season and two major tournaments for Free Fire.
Thailand's Buriram United Esports emerged as the new Free Fire world champions. The Thai team defeated 11 top rivals in the Battle Royale (BR) Grand Final to win the title.
GETHIGH, WASSANA, JOENA, MOSHI, and THECRUZ led Buriram United Esports to 7 matches with consistency and poise. After 22 eliminations and 13 assists, Wassana clinched the Grand Finals MVP and Predator awards.
In the Clash Squad (CS) realm, All Gamers Global secured a victory, completing Thailand's strong showing at this year's global FFWS.
New Guinness World Records Achieved
Garena Free Fire received the Guinness World Record for Largest Mobile Team-Based Esports Tournament at FFWS Global Finals 2025's closing ceremony.
From local qualifiers in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Brazil, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa to regional leagues, 618,778 players competed in the 2025 FFWS season. The record shows Free Fire's global reach and Garena's commitment to creating accessible, large-scale mobile competitive chances.
Free Fire x Jujutsu Kaisen Collab Coming Soon
Free Fire supporters and participants were also treated to a stunning Jujutsu Kaisen partnership trailer during the BR Grand Final on November 15, 2025.

In January 2026, the crossover will let players embody Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, and Satoru Gojo via exclusive character bundles and skill effects, blending sorcery and survival.
