Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred update, Paladin class unveiled

Blizzard Entertainment at The Game Awards 2025 revealed what's next for Diablo 4. Lord of Hatred update, the Age of Hatred's next chapter, and Mephisto's final battle were presented.

The second Diablo 4 expansion will hit PC and consoles on April 28, 2026 (PH Time). What's coming? A high-stakes campaign, two powerful new classes, massive gameplay evolutions, and Sanctuary's most famous province, Skovos.

Players who pre-ordered the expansion can play as Diablo IV's most popular new class, the Paladin. The stunning sword-and-shield champion defeats Mephisto's evil with holy force. Further, unlock Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion, opening the Spiritborn class, Mercenaries, and Nahantu's wilds on the spot.

Age of Hatred Saga - The Final Chapter

Hell's legions finally flood Sanctuary, each deathly sign revealing Mephisto's plan. Humanity is on the edge of extinction as the Pools of Creation lure the Prime Evil closer.

The Wanderer needs to turn to an improbable ally whose reappearance compels a shaky alliance based on necessity, not trust, to stop him.

New Classes - Paladin and An Unnamed Second Class

Paladin—Diablo's steadfast holy warrior—holds hammer, shield, and Holy Light. With Blessed Hammer, Auras, Zeal, Heaven's Fury, and divine transformations like Arbiter form. Now available with pre-purchase.

A second new class awaits in the shadows, delivering immense power with the release of Lord of Hatred in April 2026.

New Region - Skovos

Players visit the never-before-seen Skovos, the origin of the first civilization and Lilith and Inarius' home, to stop Mephisto.

The Oracle and Amazon Queen rule Skovos, a land of volcanic beaches, rain-lashed forests, ancient temples, and ocean-worn ruins, with new demons, dungeons, and story.

More Updates Coming to Diablo 4 LoH Expansion

Diablo 4: Age of Hatred Collection, which includes the base game and two expansions, was revealed for Sanctuary newcomers by Blizzard.
