Season 5 of Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) has redesigned the in-game chessboard. With the launch of the new season, two new limited-time game modes, GOGO MOBA and Go Go Plaza, were added, changing how players interact and strategize.
Moreover, the Golden Month Kitchen, a cooking mini-game, offers a special free skin. MCGG Season 5 also improved gameplay and player engagement.
Magic Chess: Go Go Season 5 - Update Overview
GOGO MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) takes you off the board into a dynamic realm. Select a commander to explore the revamped map. Commanders can hop across walls and map elements thanks to new jump mechanics. Explore GOGO MOBA mode's familiar terrain.
Further, check out Go Go Plaza mode. Control your favorite commander and navigate the colorful hub to meet other chess masters. Introduce yourself with Battle Emotes, take photos with new friends, or wander on a team train. Interactive elements, team mini-games, and seasonal decorations will be included in future updates.
Golden Month Event
This February 2026, Mobile Legends and MCGG both celebrate Golden Month. MCCG will also host an in-game event called the Golden Month Kitchen.
From February 17, don your chef's headwear and participate in MCGG's Golden Month event. Players will be able to obtain Zilong's Special Skin for free by collecting ingredients to accomplish the Golden Month menu through a limited-time cooking mini-game.
MCGG Season 5 - New Synergies
The Mystic Meow, Neobeasts, Heartbond, and Exorcist synergies were also introduced in MCGG Season 5 (Neon Guardians), giving players even more ways to strategize.
On another note, the inaugural GO1 World Championship champion, Emil "TTTS FLOXY" Sagetdinov from the EECA region, defeated eight finalists to clinch the title.
