The official launch trailer for Crimson Desert was unveiled by Pearl Abyss ahead of the open-world action-adventure game's global release. Per the developer, the release date is March 19, 2026 (GMT/PT). Here in the Philippines, it will be March 20.
Available platforms will be PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, Apple Mac, Steam, Epic Games Store, and ROG Ally. Pre-download starts on March 17 (22:00 UTC) / March 18 (06:00 PH Time).
Going back to the 1 minute 45 seconds video trailer (https://youtu.be/VWIw_f8e9Pg), it shows Pywel's enormous world, involving boss fights, character-specific combat styles, and dragon-riding combat.
Moreover, the footage, captured on PC as per Pearl Abyss, shows Crimson Desert's spacious open world and graphically stunning gameplay at launch.
Over three million wishlists on key global platforms were reached before the game's release, indicating great player anticipation.
So what can we expect with Crimson Desert? The main character you'll be following during your journey through the seamless open world of Pywel is Kliff. Outside of the main story, two other playable characters are Damiane and Oongka.
Wander Pywel on foot, climb cliffs, ride mounts, glide through the skies, or fly. Use swords, shields, spears, greatswords, axes, ranged weapons, and more.
Pywel is full of mysteries, from ancient mechanisms to perplexing puzzles. Many quests revolve around factions, households, and organizations you meet along the way. Artifacts you find will boost core stats and unlock and enhance skills, and more.
You can dispatch Greymanes on missions to earn currencies, materials, and resources, while in other sections of Pywel.
