The League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) returns April 4 with Split 2, Riot Games unveiled. After a competitive Split 1, there were surprises, standout performances, and unusual results. New teams contested the veteran squads, fan favorites were tested, and a new king emerged.
As teams return to regional competition, the LCP collaborates with VNGGames, PlayBrain, Carry International, Invate, and Arcanist. The second split starts soon, so here's all you need to know.
New LCP 2026 Split 2 Start Time
Riot tried an earlier start time during Split 1 and saw English viewership rise. This means some fans couldn't watch due to daytime obligations.
As a result, Riot moved the start times later after learning from criticism. Each Split 2 match starts at 4 PM GMT+7 // 5 PM GMT+8 // 6 PM GMT+9 // 8 PM GMT+11. Riot hopes this modified timing lets more regional fans watch matches live.

LCP 2026 Split 2 - Tournament Format
Teams will compete in a Single Round-Robin BO3 during the Regular Season, with the top six teams advancing to the Knockout Stage.
In a hybrid elimination BO5, the top team from the 6 remaining teams will qualify for both the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the Esports World Cup (EWC).

Championship Points are going to continue to be gained, and the team with the most at the end of the split will qualify for MSI with Split 2 champions.
LCP 2026 Split 2 is important since it might award 55 Championship Points. Here are the team rankings prior to the next split.
